There are several good brands of HVAC equipment we recommend, with the final choice being a result of specific job requirements and type of system being replaced or installed. All are sound companies that produce a quality product that will provide comfort for years to come; that is, if properly installed. Any equipment will have a shorter life span and operate at a lower efficiency if not installed properly (see Installation Matters.) After 29 years of installing cooling/heating equipment, we will recommend the right equipment for your specific job, and one that gives you the best value (not the one we can make the most money on). You put your trust in us and we will give you an honest assessment of what will do the job, be reliable and provide a comfortable environment. There are brands that do a huge amount of marketing to have you believe that "brand X" is the best on the market and we have clients ask all the time for it by name. Then "on the other hand" we have "brand Y" that just won't do the marketing hype thing and just give you the best equipment they can for the best price. There are those who think that because it costs less (it's too cheap!) that the quality is less but in reality, "brand Y" has less warranty call backs than "brand X"... believe it! We install equal amounts of each brand and "brand X" has more warranty problems. Simple as that, based on facts. |
